Do You Remember The Case Of Sarah Wairimu, The Widow Of Dutch Billionaire Tob Cohen, Accused Of Murdering Her Husband In 2019?

Good people, let me tell you something, some cases, God handles personally. Any case that involves the taking of a human life, it automatically becomes God’s business. He doesnโ€™t delegate. You did not create any human, never think of taking someoneโ€™s life.

It is alleged that Sarah killed her husband to inherit his wealth, property, and estates. She thought it would be easy to just eliminate him and use money to protect herself.

But Mungu ni nani?

Sarah Wairimu remains in custody at Langโ€™ata Womenโ€™s Prison. Yesterday, she was charged again, this time for giving false information to a police officer and swearing a false affidavit regarding a supposedly lost passport.

After her arrest in 2019 and murder charge, she was released on bail under strict conditions including surrendering her passport and stay away from the Kitisuru home, which was treated as a crime scene.

In 2024, the ODPP withdrew the murder case, citing โ€œinsufficient evidence.โ€ Sarah briefly regained partial freedom but still faced restrictions over Cohenโ€™s estate.

Then, in January 2025, the case was reopened. A new ODPP and DCI team uncovered new forensic evidence and phone data, enough to refile murder charges. She has been denied bail three times, in February, July, and yesterday, and remains in custody until the trial concludes.

Even if she tries to buy her way to freedom, she will never have access to the properties she sought through murder.
