Kenya’s politics is clearly heading in a different direction.

President Ruto saw the rising power of Hon. Edwin Sifuna, the current Nairobi Senator, and quickly moved to sponsor Jalang’o to vie for the same seat.

But as things stand, Sifuna’s eyes seem set on something bigger — the presidency in the next general elections.

Today, Hon. Robert Alai threw a sharp question at Jalang’o: “What if Sifuna doesn’t even vie for Nairobi Senator?

Because everywhere you go, the only thing you talk about is Sifuna. What else will you tell the people?”

The ground is shifting, the people are watching, and the Linda Mwananchi wave is rewriting the script.
