Drama In Nairobi As Daughter Of Late Top Lawyer Nzamba Kitonga Clashes With Boda Boda Riders Over Sh150

Drama unfolded in Nairobi after a woman identified as a daughter of the late renowned Senior Counsel Nzamba Kitonga was involved in a heated confrontation with boda boda riders over an unpaid fare of Sh150.

In a video that has since gone viral on social media, the woman is seen arguing loudly with the riders shortly after being dropped at her destination. According to witnesses, the disagreement began when she allegedly declined to pay the agreed fare, prompting the rider to demand his money before allowing her to leave.

The situation quickly escalated as more boda boda riders gathered, insisting that the fare be settled. At one point, one of the riders is seen holding onto her bag as the exchange turned tense, drawing the attention of passersby.

In the footage, the woman is heard questioning the demand for payment, remarks that many online users later interpreted as dismissive of the ridersโ€™ work. The riders, on the other hand, maintained that Sh150 was a legitimate fare and represented their daily livelihood.

After several minutes of heated exchanges, the woman eventually paid the amount and left the scene, bringing the standoff to an end.

The incident has sparked mixed reactions online, with many Kenyans condemning what they viewed as entitlement, while others urged calm and respect on both sides. The debate has also reignited conversations around dignity of labour and everyday interactions between motorists and boda boda operators.
