Arab Gulf states are bracing for a possible resumption of US-Israeli military strikes against Iran, amid reports that Washington and Tel Aviv are preparing a short but intensive campaign after the US midterm elections on November 3.
Reports indicate that potential targets could include Iranian nuclear facilities, missile and drone arsenals, and selected energy infrastructure, with the aim of pressuring Tehran into major concessions.
The growing uncertainty has raised alarm across the Gulf, where any renewed confrontation could trigger Iranian retaliation against US military assets, regional infrastructure and energy shipping routes.
US officials have said no attack will take place before the midterm elections, while the White House has not confirmed a final decision on any subsequent operation.
With military deployments increasing and diplomatic efforts continuing, regional governments face growing concerns that a new round of fighting could disrupt oil supplies, destabilize neighboring countries and widen the conflict across the Middle East.
