I had to leave my girlfriend behind and travel for a while. I didn’t go for long. I spent only one month away. By the time I came back, she was pregnant. Of course, I had to do the maths and see if it was the germination of the seed I placed in her before I left. The maths wasn’t ‘mathing’. The dates were worlds apart. I’d been responsible for so many things in her life but the pregnancy wasn’t one of those.
This is a long-time girlfriend. We had come from far because there’s further we can go. I’ve been supportive of everything she does. I won’t call myself a bad boyfriend because I’ve been doing my best. The pain after knowing about the pregnancy was so loud I could hear a cracking sound from my body but didn’t know what was breaking.
I did my search and got the guy’s details. He’s a married man. My girlfriend has been begging me to let it go and forgive her. But how do I forgive what’s growing inside of her?
I want to call the wife of the guy who got my girlfriend pregnant and report the case to her. That’s how far the hurt I feel inside is taking me. I want to call or text her and say, “Your husband has you but he came to impregnate what’s mine. Do you think it’s fair?”
