Social media influencer Francis Gaitho has said he will present himself to the DCI Headquarters at Mazingira House. In an X statement on Wednesday, Gaitho said he will be there at 2pm. “I will be presenting myself at DCI Headquarters, Mazingira House Kiambu Road at 2pm today. Thank you all for your concern,” he said.

Replying to a statement by the National Police Service, he said he is in touch with his legal counsel on how to proceed.

This comes shortly after the police admitted to having arrested veteran journalist Macharia Gaitho, who shares a name with the X influencer, mistakenly.
