Islamic authorities in Iran have announced imminent executions of people arrested during anti-regime protests.
After expedited, closed court proceedings, officials say the first group of so-called โringleaders of unrestโ will be executed Wednesday morning.
Among them is Erfan Soltani, just 26 years old.
He was arrested during the protests and sentenced to death within days.
His execution is scheduled for January 14, 2026.
No lawyer.
No fair trial.
No right to appeal.
Human rights groups report Soltaniโs family was notified on January 11 and allowed only a 10-minute visit before his execution.
Reports say the sentence will be carried out by hanging, with some executions potentially public, in accordance with Islamic law.
This appears to be the first wave of rapid executions โ not justice, but a terror campaign meant to crush dissent through fear.
