In a notice dated January 10, 2026, the party’s National Elections Board said the repeat voting will take place on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The exercise will cover parts of Samburu, Nyeri, Laikipia, and Baringo counties and will involve polling centre delegates only.

In Samburu County, voting will be held in Samburu North Constituency at Ndoto and Nyiro wards. Nyeri Town Constituency will conduct repeat polls in Kiganjo/Mathari and Kamwaki/Mukaro wards. Laikipia East Constituency will vote in Nanyuki Ward, while Baringo County will hold reruns in several wards within Tiaty Constituency.

UDA did not disclose the specific issues that triggered the reruns. The directive was signed by NEB chairperson Anthony Mwaura as the party works to finalise its grassroots leadership amid ongoing dispute resolution processes.
