Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei argues that Gachagua, Waititu, and Sonko are legally barred from owning or running a political party, noting that their impeachment disqualifies them from holding such positions under Kenyan law.
Cherargei maintains that allowing impeached leaders to operate political parties would undermine constitutional integrity, stressing that their removal from public office automatically restricts them from assuming leadership roles in registered political entities.
