Rev. Lydia Kahiga of PCEA has left Kenyans in shock with her sermon after asking her congregation to pay two tithes: one from their salary and another from their debts. She explained that tithing your debt will move God to stretch His holy arms and clear what you owe.

For instance, if you earn KSh 100,000 and owe KSh 500,000, you would give KSh 10,000 from your salary and KSh 50,000 as 10% of your debt.

Physically, your debt rises to KSh 550,000, but spiritually, according to her teaching, you become debt-free.
