โ€Ž”Junior, Jump! Jump downstairs, I will give you sweet.” Stella said to her sister’s 6 month old baby

โ€Ž”Junior, Jump! Jump downstairs, I will give you sweet.” Stella said to her sister’s 6 month old baby.
โ€Ž
Nobody was in the compound that day, All the neighbors have gone out that lonely afternoon.

โ€Ž”Nobody will save you today Junior, ” Stella said in her mind as she laughed out loud.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽHOW IT STARTED.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽMrs. Vera and her only child, Junior, who was just six months old, were watching TV in their sitting room when she suddenly heard a knock on the door.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽShe stood up quickly, wondering who it could be. When she opened the door, her eyes widened with joy.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽIt was her younger sister, Stella.
โ€Ž
โ€Žโ€œStella!โ€ she screamed happily and hugged her tight. โ€œAh, Junior, see your Aunty is here!โ€ she said excitedly, smiling down at her baby who was lying on the sofa.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽJunior smiled and kicked his tiny legs.
โ€ŽBut unknown to Vera, her sister Stella came with a planโ€ฆ
โ€ŽA plan that would ruin everything she had worked so hard for.
โ€Ž
โ€Žโ€œStella, what do you want to eat? I cooked soup today,โ€ Vera said cheerfully, unaware of the darkness hidden behind her sisterโ€™s f@ke smile.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella forced a smile and walked toward Junior. โ€œI just came to see my sisterโ€™s son,โ€ she said sweetly. โ€œI came to see Junior.โ€
โ€ŽShe lifted the baby into her arms, rocking him gently as she played with his soft fingers.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽVera smiled. โ€œThank God you came. I was thinking how Iโ€™d go to the market with him. Thank God youโ€™re here. Please, just be careful โ€” donโ€™t let him go to the balcony, please.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella gave a w!cked smile, one Vera didnโ€™t notice.
โ€Žโ€œDonโ€™t worry,โ€ she said softly. โ€œIโ€™ll take good care of Junior. You can take your time.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽVeraโ€™s heart relaxed. She hurried into her room to dress up, humming a tune as she put on her slippers. But just before she left, Junior suddenly started crying.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽHe cried and kicked his little legs, as if begging his mother not to leave.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽVera touched his soft cheeks. โ€œShhh, itโ€™s okay, my love. Stay with Aunty, Mommy will be back soon.โ€
โ€ŽThen she looked at Stella. โ€œIf he cries too much, please call me.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella smiled. โ€œI will.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe moment Vera stepped out, Stellaโ€™s smile disappeared.
โ€ŽHer eyes turned cold.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWithout care, she dropped Junior roughly on the tiled floor. His small head hit the ground, and he began crying loudly.
โ€ŽBut Stella didnโ€™t care.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽShe locked the door and went downstairs. She walked around the compound, checking each corner carefully. She even knocked on some neighborsโ€™ doors, pretending to greet them, just to make sure no one was around.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWhen she was satisfied that Nobody was around, she went out quickly and bought a piece of sweet.
โ€ŽShe smiled wickedly as she climbed back upstairs.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWhen she entered, Junior was still on the floor crying helplessly. His tiny hands were shaking.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella stared at him coldly. โ€œToday, I will teach your mother a lesson she will never forget,โ€ she whispered.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽShe brought out the sweet and showed it to him. Junior stopped crying, his innocent eyes lighting up. He stretched out his tiny hands, trying to take it.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella laughed uncontrollably. โ€œNot so easy, my dear nephew. If you want this sweet, then weโ€™re going to play a little game.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe innocent baby smiled, not understanding what was about to happen.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella lifted him up and carried him to the balcony. She placed him on a chair near the rails.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽTheir house was a THREE-STOREY BUILDING, and they lived on the HIGHEST FLOOR.
โ€ŽThe baby stood on the chair, looking down curiously, his small head peeking over the balcony.
โ€Ž
โ€Žโ€œJump, Junior,โ€ Stella said with an evil grin. โ€œJump and youโ€™ll see Mommy. Jump, and Iโ€™ll give you the sweet.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽJunior looked down as if searching for his mother. He didnโ€™t understand, but he smiled faintly.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWhen Stella saw that he wasnโ€™t jumping, she gave him a push.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe next sound was silence.
โ€ŽJuniorโ€™s small body fell from the third floor straight to the ground below.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽNo cry.
โ€ŽNo scream.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽJunior lay still on the floor, face down, bl00d slowly running from his nose.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella looked down from the balcony, smiling. But as if that wasnโ€™t enough, she picked a large stone from the floor and threw it down on him.
โ€ŽShe wanted to make sure the baby didnโ€™t survive.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽJunior didnโ€™t move.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽAfter a few seconds, Stella rushed out of the house and went straight to her own apartment. She cleaned her hands, picked up her phone, and smiled.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThen she called Veraโ€™s husband.
โ€Žโ€œBrother-in-law, please rush home!โ€ she said, pretending to panic. โ€œA neighbor just called me now, saying your wife left Junior alone and he fell from the balcony!โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽPatrick froze. โ€œWhat?!โ€ he shouted. โ€œNoโ€ฆ no, it canโ€™t be!โ€
โ€ŽHis heart raced. His only son? The child he and Vera waited ten years for?
โ€Ž
โ€ŽHe rushed home immediately.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽAs Stella dropped the call, she smiled. โ€œLetโ€™s see how you defend yourself now, dear Sister Vera.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThen she called her sister, pretending to cry.
โ€Žโ€œVera, please come home! Junior fell from the balcony!โ€
โ€Ž
โ€Žโ€œWhat!โ€ Vera screamed. โ€œNo! Stella, please tell me youโ€™re joking!โ€ she shouted, tears already streaming down her face as she ran out of the market.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽWhen Patrick arrived home, he saw his son lying on the ground โ€” lifeless.
โ€ŽHe fell to his knees, crying uncontrollably. โ€œVera, why?! Why would you leave our baby alone?โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽVera shook her head, crying. โ€œNo! I left him with my sister! Please, believe me! Letโ€™s take him to the hospital!โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽPatrick pushed her away angrily. โ€œDonโ€™t touch my son! Youโ€™re lying! Stella said she wasnโ€™t here! You want to blame her for your carelessness!โ€
โ€Ž
โ€Žโ€œNo, please listen to me!โ€ Vera cried louder. โ€œI can never hurt my child!โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽJust then, Stella arrived, pretending to cry.
โ€Žโ€œSister, how could you? Why did you leave the baby alone and go to the market?โ€ she said, shaking her head sadly.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe neighbors began to murmur. Everyone blamed Vera.
โ€ŽShe looked at her sister with tears in her eyes. โ€œStellaโ€ฆ why, why would you betray your own sister like this?โ€ she whispered.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽBut Stella only looked away, pretending to wipe her tears.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽPatrick shouted, โ€œPolice! Arrest her for negligence!โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽAs the officers dragged Vera away, she screamed, โ€œStella! Why are you doing this to me?โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽStella stood beside Patrick, hiding a wicked smile as he entered the car with junior.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽAs the car carrying Patrick and Stella drove off with the baby, Stella looked through the window and whispered,
โ€Žโ€œThis is just the beginning, Sister Vera. Your foolish husband is under my control. And Iโ€™ll make sure this baby never survives.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽPatrick, unaware of her evil plan, thanked her. โ€œThank you, Stella, for calling me on time. Oh God I hope my Junior survives this.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽShe smiled faintly and touched his shoulder. โ€œItโ€™s nothing, brother-in-law. I love Junior so muchโ€ฆ I just donโ€™t know if his mother loved him the same.โ€
โ€Ž
โ€ŽHer lips curved into a cold smile.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽBut unknown to Stella, THE TRUTH MIGHT BE DELAYEDโ€ฆ BUT IT NEVER STAYS HIDDEN FOREVER.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽTo be continuedโ€ฆ
โ€ŽDO YOU THINK VERA IS TO BLAME FOR LEAVING HER BABY WITH HER SISTER?
