Meet Kenyan MP Who Has Congratulated Tanzania President Elect Samia Suluhu

Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei has extended his congratulations to Mama Samia Suluhu for her resounding victory in the Tanzanian general elections.

He praised her and the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi party for winning 270 out of 272 parliamentary seats, underscoring the clear mandate from the people.

Senator Cherargei urged President Suluhu to celebrate her win with magnanimity and to immediately begin building a broad-based government that brings all Tanzanians together.

He also called on her to initiate the process of drafting a new constitution that truly reflects the aspirations and wishes of the Tanzanian people.
