Raila Odingaโ€™s younger sister, Ruth Odinga, has shared touching details of the former Prime Minister’s final moments before his untimely passing

She revealed that Raila had shown remarkable improvement and was even preparing to return home on Thursday 16th October.

โ€˜We were not even at the hospital; we were at a resort where we were staying ahead of our return tomorrow,โ€™ Ruth recounted on Wednesday evening. โ€˜He was just okay, going about his normal walk, and we were supposed to come back the next day.โ€™

Ruth added that the 80-year-old statesman was in good spirits during his morning walk. โ€˜He didnโ€™t collapse,โ€™ she said, painting a picture of a man full of life and vitality right up until the very end.
