The Kenyan politics, political formations, political temperaments, political landscape and political conversation changed, and got redefined right from yesterday, and will forever be different going forward.
For over 30 years since Raila Odinga joined active politics, Kenyan politics have been revolving around him. From being a king maker to being a formidable opponent, Raila has been forcing or making happen of political formations either to support or run against him.
In the five attempts that he gave a stab at the presidency, 90% of the Kenyan voters have been going to the ballot either to vote for or against him!! It has always been about him. And now that he is out of the picture, it will be interesting to see how our politics plays out.
But one thing is for sure, all politicians including President Ruto will be forced to go back to the drawing board!!
Kenyan political heavyweight has rested, and out political tectonic plates have shifted.
