Takataka: Robert Alai Defends Kibra MP Who Assaulted Larry Madowo

Kileleshwa MCA Robert Alai has come out strongly to defend Kibra MP Mwalimu Peter Orero after a viral video showed the MP and his driver driving on the wrong lane, an incident recorded by CNN journalist Larry Madowo.

Alai accused Larry and a section of Kenyans of unfairly judging leaders without understanding the pressures they face.

โ€œFrom your hate of politicians, you attack Mwalimu Orero without even trying to understand what he was going through. Representation and oversight arenโ€™t easy.

Some people just crave attention without facts,โ€ Alai said, adding that as an elected leader, he understands the daily struggles that come with public service.
