A family in Kisumu County chased away a woman who returned months after abandoning her husband and child.

The lady left her family and moved in with her lover for a while before deciding to return.

Despite her husband welcoming her back, his family could not accept it and took it upon themselves to drag her away. They walked her down the village paths, holding canes, which thay occasionally used to strike her back.

She walked ahead as they followed, criticizing her for what she did and making it clear they didn’t want her back.

They explained that they wanted to return her to her parents’ home as they no longer wanted her in the family.

One woman accused her of having several lovers and being an embarrassment to the women in the family.

The lady remained silent throughout, enduring the pain and humiliation as those who tried to intervene were met with harsh responses.
