A dramatic incident unfolded along the Ndalat–Salient road when a man suspected of being a child trafficker was chased by bodaboda riders from town to Lemok Soko.

The tense pursuit ended when the man clarified that the children with him were his own, explaining that he had fled home following domestic disagreements with his wife.

Fortunately, he narrowly escaped mob justice, sustaining only minor soft tissue injuries. He received first aid at Lemok Soko Clinic, and both he and his children are now safe as police moved in to resolve the matter.
