Why President Ruto has Sent All His PSs To Counties Today

President William Ruto has today dispatched all PSs to the counties to lead the nationwide rollout of the National Youth Opportunities Towards Advancement (NYOTA) Programme, a government-backed initiative offering KSh 50,000 in capital support to youth-led enterprises across all 47 counties.

70 beneficiaries are targeted in each of Kenyaโ€™s 1,450 wards (translating to over 100,000 youth-led businesses in the first phase)

Registration and onboarding will take place at ward level, where beneficiaries will receive not only capital but also structured business training, savings plans and enterprise mentorship, shifting young Kenyans from job-seekers to owners of formal and scalable ventures.
