President Ruto, DP Kithure Kindiki & Sports CS Mvurya hosts Team Kenya Tokyo Champions for breakfast, at State House, Nairobi where the president Ruto was seen crying. The president wiped his eyes as he express the happiness.

Kenyan athletes won 7 Gold, 2 Silver, and 2 Bronze, finishing 2nd globally and 1st in Africa.

Ruto announces that Kenya’s 2025 World Athletics medalists will be rewarded with affordable housing, following the same model used for Harambee Stars after CHAN 2024.

He further announces that 500 Kenyan athletes are set to join the Kenya Defense Forces and the National Police Service this year.
