It is now clear that Bachelor of Education (Science) graduates will not have an opportunity to join KDF as GSO- Graduate in just announced recruitment. KDF advertised positions for Bachelor’s degree in Education (Arts) in Geography, History, Business Studies, Economics, French and Arabic.

There are no opportunities for KDF Specialist Officers in Education.

So, BEd (Science) graduates can join as General Duty recruit, or go back to class.

General Service Officer- Cadet Regular (3yrs training) B Plain KCSE, C+ in (Maths+English+ 1 science).

General Service Officer- Cadet Graduate (15 months training), Required Degree.

General Service Officer- Specialist Officers (6 months training) Required Degree plus B Plain KCSE, C+ in (Maths+English+ 1 science).
