Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has dismissed claims that the opposition has already settled on a presidential flag bearer for 2027.

His remarks came just hours after former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua declared that he would be the opposition’s choice for the next elections.

Natembeya emphasized that the decision is yet to be made, noting that before settling on a flag bearer, the opposition will consider the leader’s popularity, the number of people they can attract and their resource capacity to run a successful presidential campaign in 2027.👀
