The impeached deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has expressed his sorrow to the family of former Tharaka Nithi Woman Rep. “It was with deep sadness that I learnt of the passing on of the former Tharaka Nithi County Woman Representative Hon Beatrice Nkatha Nyaga.

Hon Nkatha was a friendly, people-focused servant- a leader who stopped at nothing to deliver the best in discharging her duties.

During the time we served together in the 12th Parliament, I got to know Mheshimiwa Nkatha-a resoundingly resourceful leader- as a motherly and genuine friend.
Indeed, we have lost a transformative leader.

May the Lord comfort her family, relatives and friends.
