
The president William Ruto today held a meeting with leaders from Western region where hey discussed several issues of development. The meeting was attended by top leaders including the prime cabinet secretary Hon Musalia Mudavadi, National Assembly speaker Hon Moses Wetangula, Bungoma Governor Ken Lusaka among others.
“We are engaging leaders from across the country to accelerate the implementation of our national development agenda, ensuring no region is left behind.

Today at State House Kenya Nairobi, held consultations with leaders from Western Kenya to assess progress on key priority projects. These include strengthening agricultural value chains, particularly increasing fertiliser uptake to boost food production and reviving the sugar and coffee sectors in the region.
We also discussed urgent infrastructure needs, including roads, power connections and ongoing fresh produce markets. Other areas of focus were universal health coverage and projects that will improve access to clean water.
