Mp Peter Kaluma has said he saw Dr. Fred Matiang’i was received by only 10 people at JKIA, and he couldn’t even deliver a speech to the media—he seemed afraid.
Kaluma’s advice to Matiang’i was to start with a gubernatorial seat and rise gradually as he learns the ropes of politics. He even offered to mentor him along the way.
Kaluma also pointed out that 700,000 votes from the Gusii community alone won’t take Matiang’i far. Politics, as he mentioned, is about building a broader coalition and connecting with people across the nation.
