Update: Total Amount Of Money That Teachers Will Receive As Pay Rise
Teachers across Kenya are expected to receive a pay rise of Sh1,000 to Sh3,000 based on their job grades starting at the end of this month. This has come after teachers across the country went on strike despite the students opening their third term. Several students are still stranded at home without knowing if they should go to school or stay at home.

Salary for the lowest teacher moves to Ksh.23,830
Senior primary sch teacher is set to earn Ksh.47,858
TSC raises salary of a mid-level teacher to Ksh.79,651
