Update: New Details Emerge About 14 Cabinet Who Were Expected To Be Named By Ruto Yesterday But He Refused

A source in Mr Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) said President Ruto was to name three party picks for the top posts, making the total 14, but opted to proceed with the 11, awaiting the settling of the Orange Democratic Movement party list.

This happened after some Azimio leaders led by the wiper party leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka refused to join the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga in a national dialogue. This led to the president William Ruto to refuse naming the 14 expected cabinet secretaries.

Despite that, the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga is still in confusion as whether to join the president William Ruto or stay in opposition side.
