Mistaken Identity: DCI on Macharia Gaitho’s Arrest
The Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) has stated that the arrest of veteran journalist Macharia Gaitho was a case of mistaken identity. Gaitho was arrested on Wednesday morning at Karen Police Station. He and his son were intercepted by a Subaru as they left their home. DCI Director Mohamed Amin clarified that the arrest resulted from a mix-up.
