Today’s The Star Newspaper Headlines: Raila about-turn; Why Ruto Named Only Half Cabinet

The star newspaper headlines today on Saturday has revealed why the president William Ruto named only half Cabinet instead of 22 of them. According to the newspaper, the decision has came from the president William Ruto after the former prime minister Hon Raila Odinga told him to give him time before joining his government of Kenya Kwanza.

According to the reports, Raila Odinga held a private meeting with bigwig politician where they discussed about his interest in joining Ruto’s ‘sinking’ government. Raila Odinga on Friday morning called President Ruto and told him to give him more time so that he can consult with other leaders. This has come after the wiper party leader Hon Kalonzo Musyoka and his team vowed not to join Ruto’s government. It is now still in dilemma if Raila Odinga will join the ‘sinking’government or not.
