Rebecca Miano requested President Ruto to withdraw her nomination as Attorney General, opting to be assigned lighter duties.
According to a sources, Miano withdrew her name citing her inexperience for the role as well as public outcry on the nomination.
One of the constitutional prerequisites for being nominated as AG is to have practised law for at least 15 years.
President William Ruto had excluded Rebecca Miano from the list of Cabinet nominees submitted to Parliament for vetting.
