Meru protests seeking removal of Bishop Kawira Mwangaza turns deadly as five more school pupils injured

Five pupils have reportedly collapsed after anti-riot police threw teargas into classrooms during demonstrations.

The protests erupted as locals demanded the removal of Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza, following her recent removal by the Senate.

Kawira Mwangaza has been claiming that Meru leaders have been possessed by evil spirits and that is why they hate her.
