Journalist Sam Gituku Reveals What DP Rigathi Gachagua Can Do Before Impeachment

“Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has two options. Either resign from office or face his accusers in the impeachment process. If he is impeached and removed from office by the Senate he’ll have only one option:

Seek judicial review at the High Court, Court of Appeal and eventually at the Supreme Court. If impeachment is confirmed, he may never run for election nor hold public office.

If he resigns, before Parliament considers motion or before Senate considers a transmission from the National Assembly he could still run for public office in future”, Citizen TV journalist Sam Gituku wrote on his Facebook page.
