DP Rigathi Gachagua To Face Senators

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua set to defend himself in the Senate plenary after Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot’s motion to establish a special committee to handle the charges collapsed due to lack of support, with Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna refusing to second the motion.

Speaker Amason Kingi schedules the Senate plenary to investigate the charges on October 16 and 17, while the National Assembly and Gachagua have until Monday to submit their evidence.
