UPDATE: Auditor-General Nancy Gathungu’s report reveals that the NYS cannot account for over Sh1 billion, with Sh303 million identified as irregular expenditures.
The report also found that taxpayers may have lost over Sh300 million paid to contractors for projects delayed for years.
