Bobi Wine Speaks After The Following Leaders Were Arrested As Protest Tension Continue In Kampala

“We condemn the regime’s high-handed treatment of our fellow leaders as they attempted to access the National Unity Platform’s offices today. Several of these leaders including our Deputy President Dr. Lina Zedriga were roughed up and arrested.

Most of these leaders including MPs Zaake Francis, Kirumira Hassan, and Tebandeke Charles have been produced before Court, charged with various politically-motivated offences, and remanded to Prison.

Other comrades and leaders sent to prison include include Kemigisha Sharon, Kemigisha Sharon, Nabakooza Shamim, Mubiru James, Mukasa Ben Ntale, Kemigisha Sharon, Mungu Brian, and Ssemanda Ibra. We are yet to understand the regime’s motivation for this abuse of power but we believe they are meant to send fear among citizens across the political divide who have organised tomorrow’s #March2Parliament.

Too bad for the regime because once citizens decide to rise up and say enough is enough, no threats can turn back the clock”, Bobi Wine said.
