Political parties seeking to contest in the November 27 by-elections have been handed a seven-point compliance checklist by the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).
- Set up election management teams and internal dispute resolution committees before fielding candidates.
- Submit authorised signatories’ names and specimen signatures to the ORPP by September 17th, 2025
- Submit verified membership registers to the ORPP
- Submit comprehensive nomination schedules (venues, dates, procedures) and full lists of aspirants
- Nomination details must be 5 posted on party websites and the ORPP site at least a week before the exercise
- Parties must adhere to timelines and submission processes agreed with IEBC
