Ruto now dares Kenyans to impeach him

During an exclusive interview with SPM Buzz on July 1, President William Ruto issued a bold challenge to his critics, stating that anyone dissatisfied with his leadership is free to initiate an impeachment motion against him.

Ruto’s comments come in response to growing public demonstrations demanding his resignation. “Kenya is a democratic country and our Constitution of 2010 ensures that every citizen has the right to express themselves.

“Instead of loitering and chanting ‘Ruto must go’ in the streets, those who feel I have failed in my mandate should take the constitutional route and file for my impeachment,” Ruto told SPM Buzz on July 1.
