Kenya Red Cross says a boat carrying many people has capsized in Tana River county.
Police and other teams are at the scene, leading a rescue mission.
Witnesses say the private boat was carrying more than 40 people when it capsized. Despite that, Kenyans have been warned against the heavy rainfall which is currently experiencing a Ross the country.
