UPDATE: Ugandaโ€™s Opposition Leader Bobi Wine Has Rejected The Presidential Election Results Being Announced By The Electoral Commission

Ugandaโ€™s opposition leader Bobi Wine has rejected the presidential election results being announced by the Electoral Commission, calling them fake and unverifiable.

He says EC officials cannot explain the source of the figures and urges Ugandans to ignore the tally.

As per now, Museveni is leading by 75 percent with the results from nearly 60% of polling stations. The 81-year-old incumbent has about 5.1 million, while challenger Bobi Wine trails at 20% with 1.4 million.
