We started dating a couple of months ago but I’m already having doubts because of the security this lady has built around her WhatsApp. It’s only a woman who has something to hide who will do all that in a space that’s meant to be public.

First, her last seen is off so you don’t know whether she has been online recently. Again, her blue tick is inactive. Worst of all, you don’t see it when she’s online. She will chat with you but you won’t see her online status.

The question I ask myself is, who is she hiding from? Does someone get angry if they see her online?

I would send her a message in the morning and she would answer in the afternoon, telling me she hadn’t seen my message since morning but this lady is always on her phone when she’s with me. When she’s not on her phone, immediately she gets a notification, she rushes to check who the message is from and decides whether she should answer or not.

I’m not the kind of guy who’ll snoop. When it gets to the point where I need to snoop to know the truth, I would rather walk away than snoop. It means trust is no longer being served and what’s a relationship menu without trust?

Maybe I’m overthinking the situation that’s why I’m sharing to seek other people’s views. Is this not a red flag? Is it normal for a lady in a relationship to hide from what’s not after her?
