Teachers across Kenya are expected to receive a pay rise of Sh1,000 to Sh3,000 based on their job grades starting at the end of this month. This has come after teachers across the country went on strike despite the students opening their third term. Several students are still stranded at home without knowing if they should go to school or stay at home.
