The audit reveals: In the National Housing Corporation, over 700 units remain unsold, worth Sh3.2 billion.
The Kenya Development Corporation has 35 unsold houses, worth Sh490 million.
Various housing projects have over 4,000 government houses closed, worth Sh124 million
Rent not collected from government houses amounts to Sh309 million
The Shimo La Tewa Prison Housing Project has 100 unfinished houses, worth Sh173 million.
There are 1,501 alienated government houses, worth Sh42 million.
Kemya school of adventures (Meru)Staff housing projects have uncompleted constructions worth Sh24 million.
The Voi Pool Housing Project is stalled, worth Sh747 million.
The ambassador’s residence in Pretoria remains unused, worth Sh765 million.
