I know there’s an Arsenal fan out there feeling really low after losing this EFL Cup final, I get it, but if you were there in 2011 against Birmingham, you understand why this competition doesn’t hit the same. It has never been kind to us.

It’s the cup we’ve struggled with the most, 7 losses out of 9 finals, including 4 in a row. If you’ve supported Arsenal for 15+ years, you know the pattern. From the very start, this competition has always felt unlucky for us. Anyone who watched that Birmingham final knows why confidence is never high going into these games. Honestly, if this were the FA Cup, you’d back us every time.

But there’s still so much to be excited about. We’re just two wins away from the Premier League title, still strong in the competition that loves us the most, The FA Cup, and pushing for a second UCL final. History says English teams often win it on their second attempt, so May COULD be something special, insha’Allah .
