An Iranian lawmaker warned that in the event of war with the US, Tehran could strike targets inside Americaβincluding βTrumpβs own palace.
βAmir Hayat Moghaddam, a member of Iranβs parliament national security and foreign policy commission, told Didban Iran that Tehran has no intention of initiating conflict but is ready for a strong retaliation if attacked.
βIf the Americans attack, we will immediately give a crushing response,β he said, adding that Iran could sink a US warship in the Sea of Oman, strike US bases in the region and harm American forces βwhether soldier, officer or general.β
βIn case of war, our attacks may not remain limited to the Middle East. We can target America itself β¦ You might one day see Trumpβs own palace hit,β he said.
