South Korea’s intelligence agency has told lawmakers that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un appears to be grooming his teenage daughter as his successor.

Believed to be Kim Ju Ae, she has increasingly appeared alongside her father at major military and state events since 2022.

Analysts say her growing public role signals a possible move toward a fourth generation of Kim family leadership in North Korea, although no official succession announcement has been made.
