We go to school for different reasons.
Some because the neighbourhood is educating theirs
Some because the parents have money and so they must go.
Some, because they need to secure a given job
some, because they have a job and should get papers to justify that they deserved it

I went to school because that was the only way out. I needed something to define myself. I was hungry for a name for myself.

I’m out here and have realised a degree alone is not enough if you cannot monetize it.

The degree needs to be monetised. The University doesn’t teach you how to monetize your degree. It sends you out to read instead.
