Alego Usonga MP Samuel Atandi has issued a strong statement directed at leaders eyeing the presidency, making it clear that ODM will not serve as a vehicle for their ambitions.
He emphasizes that anyone with presidential aspirations should form their own party rather than attempt to use ODM for personal gain.
Atandi further dismisses threats from leaders claiming they would leave the party if it entered into a coalition agreement with President Ruto, saying those individuals are free to exit, as ODM has capable leaders ready to step in and take up key roles such as Secretary General.
His remarks underscore the growing internal tensions as ODM redefines its direction in Kenya’s evolving political landscape.
