Senator Moses Kajwang: Otuoma Doesn’t Deserve Another Term in Office.

Senate County Public Accounts Committee (CPAC) Chairman, Senator Moses Kajwang, has faulted Busia residents for electing Governor Paul Otuoma, saying he does not deserve to lead the county.

Speaking during an oversight visit in Busia, Kajwang claimed that the county has been turned into a multi-million shilling “enterprise crime scene,” following several reports indicating massive financial irregularities in county projects.

He said that despite millions of shillings being allocated to various projects, there is little to show on the ground.

Kajwang cited his recent visit to the Busia County Referral Hospital, where he expressed shock at the state of the facility despite substantial budgetary allocations.

According to him, the hospital remains largely dysfunctional, lacking critical services that were supposedly funded.

“The ICU is not functioning, yet five million shillings was allocated for a feasibility study on it,” Kajwang said.
