Meet Raila’s personal medic, Dr. Oketch Salah. He is the one who has been in charge of Baba’s treatment abroad. Oketch has no verified medical background; he is simply a doctor by talent and passion.

Oketch is not only an expert in human medicine, he is also a legend in animal health. He once performed three successful brain surgeries on hippopotamuses in Muhuru Bay and carried out a heart surgery on a hyena in Seme.

The animals are now living happily, though the hyena occasionally laughs too much.

He is credited for stopping the spread of Corona Virus among animals in Serengeti and Maasai Mara National parks, and for upgrading the Raboral VRG vaccine, all done using pure talent, not textbooks.

Oketch accompanies Baba abroad mainly to help foreign doctors find his veins, because as everyone knows, Baba’s veins turn into electric wires whenever foreign hands touch them.
