UDA Party’s pick for Mbeere North Constituency seat Hon. Leonard Muriuki Wamuthende marshalled his supporters and a number of elected leaders to the IEBC offices in Siakago, where he was cleared by the electoral body to contest in the November 27 by-elections.

Several leaders, among them, nominated MP Hon. Sabina Chege, Tharaka MP Hon. George Gitonga Murugara, Mbeere South MP Eng. Nebert Muriuki, Presidential Advisor on Legislative Affairs Muriuki Njagagua, escorted Wamuthende to be cleared.
