53yrs old David Gitari and Eunice separated in 2023 after several failed efforts to make the marriage work however the two were in constant communication and after nearly two years they decided to meet and reunite Last sunday afternoon after church.

They meet at Piai centre and had some nice moments as they put aside their indifferences then later in the evening they decided to go back home together after their meeting bore fruit.

On their way home around Gathoge area along Mwea – Embu highway they were hit by an overspeeding toyota fielder car, The impact was heavy throwing them over 500metres. The fielder driver who looked intoxicated drove himself to kutus police station where he surrendered.

David and Eunice didn’t make it despite the locals arriving on time to assist them, The accident angered the locals who blocked the road and refused the police from taking the bodies for close to 6hrs as they were protesting along the busy highway blocking it completely.
